Tom Pylinski, trombone
Tom Pylinski, a native of New York, has been playing trombone since the age of nine. He is second trombonist of the Canton Symphony Orchestra and acting second trombonist of the Akron Symphony Orchestra. Mr. Pylinski holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Trombone Performance from the Cleveland Institute of Music and is currently pursuing a Master of Music degree in Trombone Performance at the University of Akron, where he studies with Ed Zadrozny. Other teachers include Steve Witser, Rick Stout, Hal Reynolds and John Marcellus. Mr. Pylinski teaches low brass at Malone College and the Avon School of Music in Ohio, and has performed with various ensembles including the Cleveland Philharmonic Orchestra, the River Cities Symphony Orchestra, the Ashtabula Choral Music Society, the University of Akron Symphony Orchestra, the Cleveland Institute of Music Orchestra and the Chautauqua Music School Festival Orchestra.
